1. All-on-4 Dental Implants

• This technique involves using four implants per jaw, onto which a full arch of teeth is attached or screwed. It’s designed for patients with significant tooth loss and is notable for its minimal invasive approach and the ability to avoid bone grafting in many cases. The back implants are typically angled to maximize use of available bone.

2. All-on-6 Dental Implants

• Similar to All-on-4, this method uses six implants in each jaw to support a full arch of prosthetic teeth. The additional two implants provide extra stability and support, which might be necessary for patients with higher bone density or those who require a more robust foundation for their prosthetic teeth.

3. All-on-8 Dental Implants

• This procedure involves placing eight implants in each jaw, offering the highest level of support and stability for the prosthetic arch. It’s suitable for patients with a good amount of jawbone who require the maximum possible support for their new teeth.

4. Implant-supported Overdentures

• Unlike the fixed options above, implant-supported overdentures are removable. They are anchored onto implants through special mechanisms that allow them to be snapped on and off. This option provides more stability than traditional dentures but with the convenience of being removable for cleaning.

5. Full Mouth Individual Implants

• In cases where the jawbone is healthy and the patient desires the most natural-looking and functioning solution, a dentist might recommend an individual implant for each missing tooth. This option provides the highest level of aesthetics, function, and feel, resembling natural teeth closely but requires a significant amount of bone density and is the most costly and time-consuming option.
